Aruba is a small Caribbean island, located close to the coast of Venezuela. In the recent years, the island has become extremely popular as a tourist destination due to its fantastic beaches and its vibrant night life. Hotel Riu Palace Aruba is a resort here on the island which is located close to the famous Palm Beach here. The resort lies facing the blue waters of the beach and is sprawled out over a large area, designed to be an all-inclusive resort. The resort has been designed as a typical casual beach style resort, with a relaxed vibe about it and Caribbean style architecture that can put guests at ease instantly.

Accommodation

In all there are 450 different rooms and suites in the resort, divided into various categories like the standard rooms, double rooms, junior suites and suites with Jacuzzis. The rooms are quite comfortable and most of them have an ocean view. The basic rooms have amenities like satellite TV, telephone lines, radio, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, safe, tubs with hydro massagers and mini bars. Some of the higher category suites have a living area, two bedrooms and their private terrace or balcony. These suites also have additional amenities like a Jacuzzis, liquor dispensers, lounge area, internet facilities and through special request guests can also reserve a suite with the Jacuzzi on the terrace. All in all, the rooms are quite well appointed and designed and have some good facilities.

Dining

There are four different restaurants within the resort, each serving different cuisines. The ambiance in all the restaurants is relaxed and comfortable; however, a dress code has to be followed for dinner. The cuisines served at the restaurants in the hotel are Japanese, American, fusion and Italian. Most of these serve A la carte menus, however, buffets are available for breakfast. The restaurant has a lounge and a bar which are fully stocked, drinks are also served by the pool.

Amenities

Considering the size of the resort and its overall services, the facilities that it has in store are also quite impressive. Apart from the four restaurants, there is also a pool side BBQ station and four different bars and lounges. The resort also has its own casino where guests can get good privileges. There are two swimming pools and a sun terrace, an in house beauty salon and spa, a gym, sauna and Jacuzzi. Apart from these there are conference rooms, internet facilities and a gift shop.

Hotel Riu Palace Aruba is a good place to stay on the island; the only drawback is that the tariff is quite high which might not make it suitable for the budget conscious travelers. However, you can check their Aruba all inclusive packages which might make the over all cost a little affordable.
