Aruba has been a highly popular holiday destination in the Caribbean since the last few years, mainly because of its beautiful white sand beaches. This small island is located close to the coast of Venezuela and has serene beaches and an interesting night life. Since years this has been a favorite with honeymooners and families alike, which is why plenty of resorts and hotels have mushroomed up here in the last few years.
Most of these resorts would offer Aruba all inclusive holiday packages to their guests which would include most of the cost incurred during the holiday. The Tamarijn resort in Aruba is another resort which is an all-inclusive destination for the tourists. This massive resort is located right at the beach which makes it convenient for the guests to walk to the beach any time they like. Built to be an over-the-top luxury resort, the prices here might be quite high but if you want to be pampered like royalty then this would be the place for you.
Accommodation
There are more than 230 rooms at the resort, each one is ocean facing. The interiors are all done in a relaxing Caribbean flavor with subtle tones and beach style furniture. Each of these rooms has an ocean facing patio or a balcony and the facilities available in all the rooms include satellite TV, air conditioning, hair dryers, toiletries in the bathroom, radio, telephone lines, iron and ironing board and a mini refrigerator. On request guests could also get in house safe and an internet facility, although it would be chargeable. The garden suites here have an option of one or two bedrooms and have some extras like a living area, dining area and even a fully equipped kitchen for those who want to cook their own meals.
Dining
In all there are 10 to 11 different dining options in the resort which serve a variety of cuisines like Italian, American, Japanese, continental and classic Caribbean fare. The location, setting and the design of each of these restaurants is different. Apart from the restaurants there are also five bars and lounges in the resort which serve drinks either at poolside, ocean front or indoors as preferred.
Amenities
The Tamarijn resort believes in going all out in providing facilities. Apart from the 11 restaurants and the 5 bars available here there are plenty of sport facilities like water sport activities, tennis, volley ball, beach volleyball and plenty of other sports. The resort also has its own casino, fitness center, a rock climbing structure and plenty of classes like art and crafts lessons, dance lessons and language lessons. The resort also arranges for nightly entertainment for its guests like theme parties, salsa dance parties, and movie nights on the beach, carnival shows, local dance shows and quite a lot of other activities.
The Tamarijn resort is a great place to stay and very entertaining too, if you can afford the tariffs. However, the various Aruba all inclusive packages offered by them might make it a little more affordable.
